PESHAWAR: Former president and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was responsible for the murder of Mashal Khan, a university student in Mardan who was lynched over a blasphemy accusation earlier this month. “It all happened because of your philosophy,” Zardari said while pointing finger to the premier. He was addressing a party gathering in Malakand, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. The PPP co-chairman further said that the Sharif family was following former military ruler General (Retd.) Ziaul Haq’s policies. “You are the offspring of Ziaul Haq that’s why you follow his policies,” Zardari held. Criticising the country’s current foreign policy, Zardari said it had failed to achieve any results. “The foreign policy adopted by the rulers has failed,” he said, adding he will bring back money looted by the rulers to the country.
